What an incredible day of friendly competition at our Gonzales Community School! The highly anticipated matches between our 8th-grade students and the staff/alumni teams in both volleyball and basketball were nothing short of exhilarating! In a nail-biting volleyball match, our 8th-grade students showcased their outstanding teamwork, skills, and determination. Huge congratulations to our incredible students for their outstanding performance on the court! The excitement shifted to the basketball court, where the staff/alumni team showed their experience, skill, and sheer determination. The game was close, but the staff/alumni took over in the 4th with a few big plays and clutch threes. A big round of applause to our staff and alumni for their tremendous effort and sportsmanship! It was a joyous celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and friendly competition, reminding us of the incredible bond we share within the Gonzales community! Go Lobos!

Who knew there was a Zoo in Santa Fe? Introducing the Sunflower Zoo at Pinon Elementary! What an amazing adventure our 3rd-grade students had! They dove into research, visited the Biopark Zoo in Albuquerque, and let their creativity soar by making animal masks on paper plates. Today was the big day when all the Pinon Elementary students came together to explore the Sunflower Zoo! They took on the roles of dedicated zookeepers and had the incredible opportunity to "feed the animals" who in turn gave facts they had found during their research about their incredible creature. With awe and excitement, our young explorers discovered the wonders of the animal kingdom. From the graceful giraffes to the playful penguins, every creature left an indelible mark on their hearts! Great job, Eagles!
