Volunteering requires a tremendous investment of time, dedication, and patience. Our volunteers embody the true spirit of altruism, and Santa Fe Public Schools is fortunate to have such exceptional individuals supporting our district.
Thanks to the commitment of SFPS volunteers, we have made meaningful progress not only in student achievement but also in strengthening the Volunteer Program itself. Through the work of our Communications, Education, and Fundraising committees, we have expanded efforts and launched a multi-pronged approach to developing Volunteer Circles at school sites across the district.
In recognition of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 19–25, each school site will be distributing a small token of appreciation to its volunteers. Volunteers are encouraged to look for the display at their school and inquire with the front desk staff about receiving their memento. This is just one of many ways schools will celebrate and honor volunteers during this special week.
“On behalf of the entire SFPS community, we are so thankful for your support in so many ways,” said Sabra Romero, SFPS Volunteer Coordinator. “We hope you feel appreciated during this special week.”
