We are thrilled to announce that meals will be offered at no cost to all students attending Santa Fe Public Schools per the Healthy Hunger-Free Students Bill of Rights Act.

Although we are offering no cost meals to all students, we continue to be responsible for collecting eligibility data. This information determines eligibility for P-EBT as well as funding for Title I, E-Rate and other programs that benefit students within the district.

Students attending the following schools will need to complete a meal application.

Acequia Madre, Amy Biehl, Atalaya, ATC, Carlos Gilbert, Pinon, Wood Gormley, El Dorado, Mandela, Capital High and Santa Fe High.

If your child's school site is on the list above, please complete an application at MySchoolApps beginning July 1, 2023 to determine the meal status for your child(ren). It is recommended that applications are completed online for faster processing. As a reminder, students will receive one breakfast and one lunch at no cost despite eligibility status.

Below are a few regulations/requirements for meal service:

In order to qualify for the no cost meal, students must take a complete meal at the time of service.
If a student wishes to take less than a complete meal, as a la carte, or pieces of a meal (e.g. single entree, fruit, vegetable, or milk) the student must be charged separately per item in accordance with Federal Regulations 7 CFR 210.10(a)(2)
Students purchasing milk or other a la carte items must have cash in hand or money in their account which can be added by sending cash or check with your student or making an online payment through MySchoolBucks. Please place cash or checks in an envelope clearly marked with the student's first and last name, their ID number, and amount enclosed. Turn in to the cafeteria cashier or school office. Make checks payable to student's school cafeteria.
Children that bring a sack lunch but would like to drink milk will need to purchase the milk. The a la carte price for milk is $0.50.
Adults may purchase a lunch meal for $4.50 or breakfast meal for $2.75 or may purchase a la carte items at their individual cost.
