SFPS Re-entry Plan
Purpose
The purpose of this online manual is to present the Santa Fe Public Schools (SFPS) Re-Entry Plan in a
format that will be useful to the widest possible audience. The guidance provided in the SFPS Re-
entry Plan has been carefully organized to provide a focused, systematic description of both the
state’s re-entry requirements and how SFPS will implement those requirements.
This manual includes a table of contents, found on the left of your screen, to act as a quick reference for each topic area. And please note the Frequently Asked Questions section where we address your concerns submitted through the online FAQ form.
First day of school for all students: August 20, 2020
Teachers return: August 11, 2020
Initial Instructional model: Remote Learning
For the health and safety of all students and staff, the SFPS 2020-21 school year will start with a much improved version of the remote learning model used during the spring semester of the 2019-20 school year. SFPS will transition to a hybrid learning model once it's deemed safe to do so, based on guidance from public officials and health experts, and in consultation with our teachers' union, NEA-Santa Fe. SFPS families and staff will be given ample notice before any such changes occur.
