Congratulations to Piñon Elementary

Piñon Elementary School has been recognized as an Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools National Blue Ribbon School for 2020 by U. S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, Superintendent Dr. Veronica C. Garcia announced today. Under the leadership of Principal Janis Devoti, who has led the school for more than 20 years, the school has created a safe and welcoming environment where students master challenging and engaging content.

The Santa Fe Public Schools Adelante Program provides services for children, teens, and their families experiencing homelessness in Santa Fe. We provide them with advocacy, tutoring, evening programs, and material aid. SFPS Adelante also plays a crucial role in educating the community about child homelessness, and advocates for our families' needs with schools, human service agencies, and the community at large. If you are experiencing housing insecurity, are couch-surfing or facing eviction, please visit to connect with our team.

El Programa Adelante de las Escuelas Públicas de Santa Fe brinda servicios para niños, adolescentes y sus familias que se encuentran sin hogar en Santa Fe. Les proporcionamos apoyo, tutoría, programas nocturnos y ayuda material. SFPS Adelante también juega un papel crucial en la educación de la comunidad sobre la falta de vivienda de los niños y aboga por las necesidades de nuestras familias en las escuelas, las agencias de servicios humanos y la comunidad en general. The NMAA and the Governor’s office announced that ALL summer workouts for football, soccer, and wrestling must end for the summer.
Additionally, all coaches and athletes no matter the sport, must wear masks during exercise at all times.
