The mission of Ramirez Thomas Elementary School is to ensure that all students demonstrate grade-level proficiency as determined by Common Core State Standards (CCSS). With this in mind, we commit to:
Utilize focused assessments and rigorous evaluation of data to inform our instruction.
Participate in continuing professional development and collaboration in order to offer the best possible learning opportunities for our students.
Team with and attain feedback from students, families, staff and community members.
We will accomplish our mission in an environment of trust and respect that fosters positive attitudes towards: self; others; cultural, linguistic and social differences; academic achievement; personal growth; and responsible citizenship. As a community, we will celebrate our successes.
The learning community at Ramirez Thomas Elementary believes that all children can learn, achieve and perform at the highest levels. We are dedicated to high expectations; a rigorous curriculum and data informed instructional decisions to insure that all students are academically and socially prepared for college and career.
